One form, read by the desk
App Builder Index is a small editorial team, so there is one route in rather than a switchboard. Everything you send through the form below lands with the editors, and we aim to answer within three working days. What we do with each kind of message is set out further down, so you can tell whether it is worth writing.
Write to the desk
If you are reporting a factual error, name the sentence: it is the difference between a correction we can make today and one that needs a re-test. We reply to the email address you give here and use it for nothing else.
What happens to each kind of message
- A correction or a disputed rating
- Quote the sentence and say what is wrong with it. If a factual claim is incorrect we fix it and note the correction on the page. If a score is affected we re-run the brief. Vendors use this route too and get no faster response than readers.
- A tool we have not rated
- Tell us what it does and who it is for. We add builders when they can complete brief one from our testing specification, not when they launch a landing page.
- A comparison we do not publish
- We only publish pairings we have tested head to head. Ask for one and we will schedule it if it represents a decision readers actually face.
- Data protection and privacy requests
- Access, deletion, correction and objection requests under the GDPR. Choose the data protection option in the form so the message is routed to the person who handles them.
- Reusing our data
- The rankings dataset is licensed CC BY 4.0 and needs no permission, only attribution and a link. Write to us if you need a format we do not publish.
