Got our clinic booking form live without asking anyone for help

I am a practice manager, not a developer. I described what we needed and it built something our clients actually use to book appointments. I have not had to touch the database directly once. The bill is the same every month, which my finance colleague appreciates more than any feature.

It says no-code and means something else

Business processes, endpoints, data models. These are developer ideas with a visual editor over them, and I could not get past the modelling stage without help from a friend who writes software. The generated code apparently impressed him a great deal. It did nothing for me at eighty euros a month.

    Gave up after a weekend

I am the wrong buyer for this and I want to warn people like me. Nothing here is difficult if you already understand joins and permissions. I do not. I spent a whole weekend and had a login page and a table I could not filter. Went elsewhere and had a working tool the same evening.

    Recommended to me by mistake

Someone told me this was the best AI app builder and technically they may be right about the AI part. It is a code editor. There was no button to publish anything, no database, and the first error message ended my afternoon. Non-technical buyers should not have this on their shortlist.

Far too much tool for me

Collections, bindings, workflows, and a backend I had to buy separately before anything appeared on screen. I understand now that it is aimed at agencies. Nothing about how it was sold to me suggested that. I would tell anyone in my position to look at the simpler end of this index first.

Marketed at me, not built for me

I read low-code and assumed that included me. It does not. The first thing it wanted was a database connection string and the second was a SQL query. I am sure it is excellent for developers. For a practice manager with no engineering support it was a dead end, and I lost a week finding out.
